Water Intake Structure

All water infrastructure projects begin to flow from the tapping point at source. Water Treatment Plant

Reliable water treatment plants are essential for modern infrastructure in order to make drinking water available from raw water sources, be it groundwater, lakes, streams, rivers, canals or sea. Raw water from source should be adequately cleaned and treated before being distributed for potable and non-potable use.

With strong foothold in the domain of Design, Construction, Operation and Maintenance of high capacity water treatment plants (WTP), JWIL has infrastructure and resources essential to implement drinking water supply and Water Distribution system with required technology to monitor quantity and quality of water supplies including billing system. Water Transmission (Pipelines) and Distribution Network

JWIL has extensive experience in design, supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of bulk and distribution pipeline network for domestic and industrial water supply, treated water for reuse from Sewage/Effluent, raw water for irrigation, institutional &power plants etc. It has developed expertise for both the business and technical management of large pipe networks with planning, laying and managing cross-country pipelines of any length and size (upto 4000 mm diameter) in all terrain conditions for drinking water, wastewater, irrigation, power and flood water transportation and management.

Pumping Station

Water is becoming more scarce and thereby more valuable resource. The shortage of drinking water is essentially due to the unequal distribution and limited supply of fresh water. That is why sustainable management of water and energy resources is increasingly important. (C) Wastewater Treatment Solutions

Wastewater treatment has become essential to address the shortage of fresh water and saving of surface and ground water sources. JWIL has established a leading position in the treatment of Wastewater from design to application of technology, construction to management and operation of sewage treatment plants, common effluent treatment plants, tertiary and water reuse treatment plants, sludge treatment, bio-gas & power generation. CETP SITARGAJ

ELDECO SIDCUL Industrial Park Ltd (ESIPL) is a 1096-acre ultramodern Industrial Park in Sitarganj, Uttrakhand. This industrial park houses various types of Industries such as Agro based, plywood, Auto components, FMCG, Electronics etc. JWIL has agreed to share its expertise & provide O&M services for Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) situated at ESIPL. Effluents from 87 diverse industries are being treated at this CETP which have a treatment capacity of 4 MLD.

STP BHILWARA

JWIL has executed an EPC Project of 5 MLD STP to treat sewage flowing in Nalla at outskirt of Bhilwara city and to reuse it for Iron ore Beneficiation Plant – a Mining Establishment of Jindal SAW Limited in Bhilwara. The automated SBR based STP was commissioned on 30.04.2012 and comprised of:-

  • Raw Sewage Transfer Pipeline and Treated Sewage Conveyance Pipeline of DI and MS of total length 23.50and 3 Kms respectively
  • Water retaining Structures of cumulative 3.8 ML capacity
  • Raw Sewage, Treated Sewage, Sludge Transfer and other Auxiliary Pumping Capacity of total 323.70 KW supported by a 11 / 0.433 KV Electrical Sub-Station and 630 KVA Distribution Transformer

(D) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)

JWIL have end-to-end capability to design and install Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) for various customers and help them monitor and improve the water supply distribution system by detecting, arresting and reducing leakages. The SCADA systems help clients have full information of water parameters like flow and pressure of pipeline of entire network from the main control centre. SCADA components are easier to integrate and provide improved capabilities and functionalities which help for a faster response in real time processes. Geographical Information System (GIS) is extensively used to map distribution systems, provide pictorial views and also identify the shortest route to manage disasters.

SCADA system is applied in both Distribution Network and Treatment plants. Under SCADA System, PC based workstations are located in a control room which allows operators to view and perform control actions as well as monitor water tank levels, pressure of water system, plant temperature, sedimentation, filtration, chemical treatment etc. The SCADA system also helps in delivering business system integration, cost effectiveness and system security in water control systems and plants.

(E) Operation & Maintenance

Operation and maintenance are indispensable for the continuous and safe operation of any water infrastructure. JWIL addresses this vital need to cater growing demand from clients and undertakes the operation and maintenance of all types of water supply projects as well as treatment plants.

The long term association and trust with the client comes through implementation of cost effective operation & maintenance (O&M) activities, which is carried out after the project is handed over. In the long-term, it results in considerable cost advantages for the respective owners.
